Icon7 Removing hondata for emissions

Hello all!
My first post I just have one question. I need to pass emissions and with the s300 thats not happening.
What I'm wondering is if I remove the ecu and put the stock one back in just for emissions will my tune be messes up/will that work?
I'm going turbo so I will leave wastegate open. It is an ob2 test no more.

if you still have the factory injectors and all of the sensors that the factory ECU needs... Yes, but you will have to drive it for a week or so to get the readiness flags to clear to pass the scan tool test.
Will the tune be messed up? no.

NOTE: this is provided you are not in cali or other states that do a visual inspection of the engine, then there is no way you are going to pass once they open the hood.

Just be like my friend who swaps in a whole different engine and transmission every 2 years to pass emissions. He has a stock d series he puts in.
