Low beams not working but Highbeams do
I just bought this car and one of the issues was the headlights weren’t working but the highbeams did. So as a shot in the dark I tried replacing the headlight bulbs and that did nothing so I went to check and see if there was any electrical **** wrong with the connectors or harnesses. There was a random neon blue wire spliced into the driver’s side right before the connector to the headlight, and I knew it wasn’t factory. So I followed it and it lead to the other headlight connector. So I took the bumper off to get a better look and the harness was cut very far back on the passenger side. I removed the old wire the I tried using the same wire to splice into the harness and now that sides high beam doesn't work. My question is how far back do those harnesses go? Or is there a way for me to properly splice that without replacing the harness? Or do you guys think its something else?
