Auto to manual cluster swap
To start off I converted a 1991 hatchback DX to manual with an entire 91 CRX DX drive train and supporting items.
I dropped the entire d15b2 with 5 speed trans in including the axels, pedals, MPFI swap, ECU, and cluster.
After soldering the two black wires from the automatic shift mechanism the car started but ran rough like it was choking out when giving it gas. After next start smoke poured out of the intake. Shut the car off and found my TPS not plugged in.
After that car will not start.
Spark is good
Fuel through lines
Brand new spark plugs
New AN fuel line and filter
No breaks in MPFI wires
All landed correctly as well
TPS wires were switched
not really sure what to check next?
fuel pressure?
voltage or resistance on fuel injectors?
any help is appreciated.

What wiring did you keep and what did you replace?
You also did an MPFI conversion when you did the manual swap?
Would have been a good idea to be know these things before first start.

cabin wiring is all original to the auto hatchback
I’ve never questioned it because it all ran before.
