My wife has a 2013 Odyssey. She loves it other than she really wishes she could use Carplay. I've tried looking at options and it is a little confusing which way to go. If I go to Crutchfield I have found a number of stereos which can replace the controls in the center of the dash. It is unclear to me what impact that has on the interface at the top center of the dash. Can I use the stereo to still control all of the car settings which get controlled through buttons on the center dash? I have also seen things which look like they sit in front of the interface at the top center. I'm not sure how those really get integrated. And then at one point I saw a company which looks like they help re-program the existing system to add Carplay...Forgetting the name of it now.

It is an older car and my wife doesn't need anything super fancy as it relates to a stereo. Really I need something which isn't too expensive and integrates reasonably. Hopefully it isn't too much of a change from what she is used to.

Any help would be appreciated.
