JDM F18B Swap
So far I have installed new coilovers from MaXpeedingrods in the front and have them for the rear but haven't put them in yet. I also have a control arm kit with camber adjustment. Made my own mandrel bent dual exhaust. I have 2 3" DMT mufflers that will be welded on. The whole beginning of this swap began because I popped the clutch from a stop... bad things happened and now the transmission grinds when in gear. So I purchased a F18B jdm Non vtec engine and tranny on ebay from jdm Tennessee for $1300. So now I get to figure out my cv axle problem as well as maybe a mount issue. I haven't gotten that far yet and will update as I go.
Yes it is as I have been searching for days for anything to do with this motor and the only thing I could find is that it comes out of a 94 Honda Accord Jdm CD3. But haven't seen a single video or post with real info other than it has 125 hp which is 25 more than what I had. And thank you. I'll need it lmao.
It will basically be like doing a H22A swap... only without the power. If 125 HP is enough power for you... a D16Z6 makes that... and you can keep your A/C.
EDIT: The $1300 I spent includes engine and transmission.

If the reason that you bought this swap is because it was "Cheap"... don't forget that you will still need to BUY a set of mounts, custom axles, a midshaft, rear "T" bracket, shifter and shift linkage, and a large-necked half-width radiator with a slim line fan... not to mention a P28 ECU with a Hondata S300 for tuning inside. All of this list... will cost a significant amount of money.
Now, IF as you stated in the lower half of your last post above, that you chose this engine because you LOVE the "F" series engine family... not to mention being different in doing an uncommon swap... THEN DO IT MAN !!!

I meant cheap as in I don't want to spend 5000 on just a motor. I have everything except the rear t bracket. And possibly the radiator. I read somewhere that the stock del sol radiator is good for a full H22. I just need the slim fan. As for tuning I'm using my P06 and added demon II with Neptune as software. The last step I have on that end is find the spot to add a resistor/jumper for the IAB.

As I working on the engine and prepping for install I found the swap mounts are not simply bolt on. The motor mount doesn't not line up and will need refabricated. The transmission mount needs holes opened up and a stud needs cut down to allow for bushing. Will post pictures as I complete these steps
And the engine and tranny are in... kinda lol. It's held by two mounts so far. I still need to make the custom rear bracket. But atleast it's in. I'll post pictures tomorrow when I continue working on it
