Default Steering column removal........

Has anyone ever changed out their steering column on an EK? I need to see if it is worth my time to help someone out or should they just go get it done somewhere else? His steering column is bent from thieves and wants to get another one.

Thanks, Jason

I understand it is bent, but what sort of problems is it causing. I have removed one before, but I am not quite sure what you are asking. Also, this was on a 1994 GSR, but I don't think there is much of a difference, would you be changing it out for another one or just replacing it with the same? I don't quite remember it being completely tough, but I already had a lot of the parts out of the car, including the dash.

Yeah, his dash is out of the car right now. He is putting the same one in, just one that isnt bent. His turnsignal **** and wipers are all crooked so he wanted to get a new one.

Thanks, Jason
