I recently got my ac serviced got compressor replaced , vacd and recharged and this is the first time I’ve had ac in the car since I’ve owned it but after getting it back and turning the ac on it doesn’t seem to get very cold.
any ideas?

 

Check the heater valve cable and the heater control valve; you may find a misadjusted cable, a stripped valve, or both.

 

I’ve looked into this and saw my vin has the non adjustable cable but I haven’t been able to find where this is

 

The air mix cable is a different cable than the heater valve cable shown in the illustration. Just follow the instructions on the Honda Service News article in my earlier post for the heater valve cable.

1994 and early 1995 Accords had an adjustable air mix cable that required additional adjustments along with the adjustment of the heater valve cable. Mid-1995, 1996, and 1997 Accords had a non-adjustable air mix cable that didn't require the additional step with the air-mix cable.

The instructions gets confusing since they also mentioned the air mix cable; but, you do not need to worry about the air mix cable with your 97 Accord.

Little updated I finally messed with it and the valve is completely closed but I feel little difference.
