I’m swapping to a stand alone using the oem late model b series crank sensor and a single magnet in the exhaust cam gear so I have no need to keep the distributor. Can it be totally removed? I’ve got my engine apart and don’t really recall how all that came apart. I see a lot of cap deletes but nothing for the while distributor.

 

Just use the same cam seal as the exhaust cam in place of the distributor
