Default F22A6 to F22B1 swap: EGR help

Original engine bit the dust, swapping in a new economy engine. My egr didn't work before, I tested the system a while ago and I'm pretty sure it was the control solenoid in the vacuum box. Now that I have a fresh engine I'd like to get the EGR system working again. I can't seem to find a new control solenoid for sale anywhere, and the '94 solenoid(two wire) is different than the '93(three wire). I'm using the correct ecu for the engine. Should I buy a used solenoid off of ebay and hope it lasts, or can a '94 one be made to work? I don't need to pass emissions, so if the ecu knows the egr system isn't working will it compensate for it and run fine otherwise? What is my best option here?
