Default DC header with 2.5" collector

I've heard of people modifying their dc headers to have a 2.5" collector with integras. Has anyone done this for their prelude?

How was it done and what were the gains over the regular dc header? Thanks.

There was some people doing it on PO... You could probably take it into a muffler shop and have it done... Possibly gain 5whp. You probably need a HF cat as well.

5 hp is quite a bit for just modifying a collector
has anybody else done this?
was this on an h23 or an h22?

Does the rest of your exhaust system have to be 2.5" then??

What if you have a 2.5" collector and a 2.25" cat/axle-back exhaust??

no, i dont think it would have to be 2.5 all the way back
as long as the muffler shop could fabricate sopmething for you

One of the modified dc header doesnt have a flex pipe. isnt that a crucial part of the header so that they wont crack?
