04 Civic acceleration and deceleration issue.
Hey all, I just created an account to try and figure out what might be going on with my 04 automatic civic. About two months ago I started noticing that when going harder on the acceleration my Civic would start to jut slightly and since then it’s slowly gotten worse.
I’ll try to explain exactly what I mean, usually say if I’m driving about 90km and say I’m forced to slow down to 30km, the car will struggle to get back up to speed after. It will jut and I guess kick almost if you will with the rpms somewhat surging until it’s able to lock itself back in. It’s almost as if it’s not shifting into gears properly. The same thing will happen if I hit a hill, the car will struggle and again it will start to jut and lose its acceleration.
I got my throttle body replaced based on Hondas word but it didn’t end up fixing the problem. Any help is appreciated!!
