2003 Civic Cruise Control Disengages While Driving
I have a 2003 Civic that gives me weird behavior with the cruise control. Any time I set out on a new drive I am able to set the cruise control (the dash light does turn on). After a few minutes of maintaining speed or if I'm diving up a hill that requires the car to rev up in order to maintain the speed, the cruise control will automatically disengage. The dash light will turn off. If I try to reset the cruise nothing happens. There is the cruise switch on the steering panel down to my left. If I turn that off for a few seconds and then back on I'm able to reengage the cruise. However, the problem will repeat itself after a few minutes of disengaging.
I'm semi-mechanically inclined, but specific to electrical I'm closer to a newbie.
Thank you in advance for your direction.

Any luck on this? Mine has done something like this, but I seem to be having an engine related issue I haven't been able to figure out yet. How's you power normally? Does the car feel like it is putting out a normal amount of power?
