I see a drop of oil here sometimes, what is the problem? Where is the oil coming from? How do I make it stop?

Definitely check from the top down. Could be your valve cover. I had a little tiny drip what looked like was coming from my trans was a **** feel-pro valve cover gasket. Get the oem one from Honda with a few hits from Honda bond. Would be cool since rear main seals are A pain In the **** to get to

At this age if you are going after the rear main it would probably be wise to have a repair sleeve on hand. Likely to find the crank has grooves in it where the seal rides.

Do you have any idea on why a brand new distributor in my sedan is not firing on the number 3 and 4 points and had to be ran backwards for tge car to start

Is there a way to rule out the possibility that this is coming from the transmission? Do they make some sort of dye that could be added to either the engine oil or the transmission oil?

Not to my knowledge. You could drain your tranny oil and measure what comes out and measure how much goes in? Might not be super accurate though.
