Hi all, 08 LXP 5 Speed over 200k.
While I am driving, as I shift from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd or even 3rd to 4th,the RPMs take at least 4-5 seconds to drop. Normally, the RPM would drop quickly during shifts, but all of a sudden, I have to wait several seconds for the RPMs to drop in order to shift in gear. Has anyone experienced this before?
I've never experienced this with any 5 speed manual vehicle in the past. It literally takes about 4-5 seconds to drop from 5000 rpm to 2000 rpm. While the car is at idle and I rev the car to 3 - 5k, the RPM is a bit slow as it drops.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
