I will be turboing my D16B6 6th gen Honda Accord, my goal is 250-300hp (as it's still my daily).I am currently creating an action/partlist.
As this is my first turbo build: What do you think about my action/partlist?
My current list:
-T3 0.57 trim turbo with a 0.6 compressor and 0.48 turbine (Calculated on BorgWarner and compared with several compressor maps) ---- I do not have a brand or type in mind yet, suggestions are welcome
-Water and oil lines to cool and lubricate the turbo
-K&N filter with bigger air inlet
-Blow off valve (which size and brand?)
-Electronic or manual boost controller? (which brand?)
-Air to Air intercooler
-Ramhorn manifold (ramhorn as my AC is broken anyway, or is a log type manifold better?)
-3 Inch downpipe
-Selfmade 3 inch exhaust with sport cat splitting to 2x 2.5 with internal cut out valve mufflers.
-New camshaft?
-any head mods, or just leave it as is?
-Vitara D16 75.5mm pistons
-75.5mm honing cylinders
-Speedfactory D16 long rods
-ARP Head studs
-Gaskets (head, exhaust mani, ?)
-Main crankshaft bearings
-Connecting rod bearings
-Crank balancing?
-Crank polishing?
- Exedy Organic Sports Stage 1 212mm clutch set is already installed (265hp limit)
-New drive shafts neccessary?
-Polyurethane engine mounts
