I’m looking for a quick spool turbo for my k24a2 target chp 550hp, the k series is such a efficient motor so it hard to find a turbo that won’t get maxed out and blow up

 

I don’t know what you mean by chp 550hp. Anyways, do you mean 550 wheel horsepower or flywheel horsepower is your target?
Are you on a budget, or is budget no concern?
There’s the Garrett GTX3076R which might hit 550whp, and for sure 550 flywheel horsepower, but they are like $1,700! If looking to make 550whp, you might want to move up in size to the GTX3576R…

 

thank you for your info, what I meant by chp is crank horse power because that what turbo calculator ect use to match turbos, thanks

Good turbo manifold and a borg warner s200 sxe (s257) with an agp .82 a/r turbine housing.

 

Several questions you need to ask yourself and other before you can even get to just the quick suggestion that Balor_Gr suggested.
What's the purpose of the car? (street, street/circuit?, drag race? etc)
What exhaust manifold are you using?
What type of fuel do you plan to use to reach that maximum hp?
what's your budget for the turbocharger itself? (don't give us that "something that won't break the bank, but not junk, either" nonesense. Get a real number estimate for yourself
Are you prepared to shell money out for supporting equipment? (water lines, if needed, proper restrictors, oil feed / return lines, etc...)
Is there a maximum rpm or boost pressure you're looking for to achieve this?
What's been re-enforced or done to the engine? (is it stock, new pistons/rods, etc?)
What chassis are you using for this?

You must give this information first to start a conversation even before the S200 S257 suggestion is realistic because there are many other factors to consider.

Get back to us with those so we can have a real conversation.. It's been a while since a real conversation has come into play here ...

 

That new Garrett G25 claims 550hp at the crank on the small housing and 660hp on the big housing. That should spool incredibly quick but also $2700 today.

And not really sure how they claim 550hp with a compressor map that comes up just short of 50lbs/min.

 

Yeah, those G25's are intriguing. Pulsar makes a knock-off version for under a grand.

 

G25 should be right in line with the EFR 6758 with the .85 turbine housing I would guess. Prices are about the same when configured with v-bands and internal gates.
