Assistance needed: L15B 2020 Civic has wastegate codes after eBay replacements
Hello everyone, i have problem with civic 1.5 turbo. I changed whole turbo assembly, bought on ebay, like new condition. When i installed, everything was perfect, no cel no lights. After some drive, i got cel, 2 codes. One is p003a : wastegate not learned and second p2563 ewg lift sensor out of range. When i erase code, i drive wirhout issue, when i stop vehicle and statt again, gives me the same codes. Did anyone have the same issue?

Did you replace your turbo with one similar to stock, or was it larger?
Does the new turbo have an internal wastegate inside of the turbo, or no wastegate inside the turbo?
Do you have Hondata, Kpro, or some other tuning software?
I haven’t had that issue, but those questions should help narrow down the issue. You might want to ask Hondata or a similar company if their product could solve those issues.
First of all I’m assuming it’s a 2016-2021 Civic model- the L15 engine?

You’ll probably have to calibrate the wastegate.

This is for the Civic Type R, but supposedly it’s the same process:
