Default Advice for 93 JDM

Hey all, I own a JDM right hand drive Prelude SI, with a F22B motor....I may swap out the engine to go vtec in the future, but for now I am just looking to pull out a little more HP.....was wondering if any of you guys have some advice on where to start without spending too much money right away.... Any advice would be appreciated...

I wouldn't spend any money on the F22B motor... Just save and save for the swap..

How about parts that would be interchangeable between the two?

An exhaust will be interchangeable, but I wouldn't put any money into an F22. Actually, I'd put a wet kit on it and keep upping the shot until it blows, but I doubt you would want to go that route.

It's their equivalent of our H23A1

Really? i thought it was SOHC.. If its DOHC, flywheel, intake, exhaust (not header) are all interchangable... If I had a H23a motor, I would mod it, I can live w/ out VTEC

How hard should it be to swap in an H22A (http://www.osakajdmmotors.com/engines/h22_92.html) they're both JDM, as is the car...so I would think should just be a bit of labor, and time.....
