Ex auto solenoid wires
Hello I have an ex auto tranny on my ef sedan. I used to have the single solenoid LX/dx tranny and the connector from the solenoid used to have just one wire. Now there is two wires coming from the dual solenoid assembly. I have the old connector with one single wire plugged into the dual solenoid connector. So my current engine harness is only making contact with only one of the two wires now at the solenoid connector. The tranny works but I’m not sure it is working 100% maybe I’m not getting my lock up at highway speeds?
what is the correct way to wire a dual lock up solenoid assembly when going from LX to EX transmission.
thanks everyone
also I plan to convert to obd1 later this year. I heard that the ex dual solenoid trans is preferred because an obd1 auto transmission also works off of twin solenoids. Not related to my question. Just sharing
