Rack and Pinion replacement- reccomended suppliers needed
Hello
The rack and pinion needs replacement as there is slop on one side only .
Its not the tires or rims
Would like to know what re-manufacture parts suppliers to avoid.
and what re-manufacture has the best rep for reliable parts.

If it's just one side, maybe just a inner tie rod needs replacement? I just replaced both inner and outer rods also put new bellows on. My opinion- Beck Arnley and Mooge Problem Solver were the 2 best brands I came across, ordered both brands and Mooge seemed beefier so went with those. I would suggest Mooge but stay away from cheap cheap parts which are most likely to fail not far down the road.
Not sure about after market brands for entire racks though..
If you prefer to replace the whole rack, for removal - you will find it easiest to turn the wheels all the way to the right, remove the column covers, remove both bolts on the rotating knuckle, remove anything under the rack that could get in the way, remove the drivers side outer tie rod (counting its rotations when removing so installing the same should get you back to being close for toe in) and the rack will slide right out. I fought with mine for a lil while but figured it out. Removing the rack makes life simple for replacing everything on it.
Hope that helps in any way?

All of them pretty much. When it comes to steering most places just suck.
Honda.
I'd really suggest replacing the inner tie rod.
Lot less messy
Lot cheaper.
Less of a headache.

Re inner tie rods, Sankei 555 is great IF you can find it. Not an easy find,
If not that, Moog problem solver series if you can't afford Honda
