I picked up a 2000 civic hatch for her yesterday. It has plenty of problems however it’s a complete car with ac.
the car is currently running but not driving. The clutch is on the floor.

 

The clutch pedal was on the floor and I had to tow it home. It ended up needing a new slave cylinder. $25 later and the car is drivable.


we immediately got to cleaning and repairing the front end . I also went out and bought oem headlights. Grill, armrest and cluster with a tach.

 

Today my wife wet sanded the car, and I polished it. Looks much better now.

-timing belt
-plugs
-torque mounts
-02 sensor
-lots more cleaning
-driver window regulator
-radiator cap
-oil change
-top radiator hose
-muffler
-added missing lug nuts, replaced lots of broken plastic clips, repaired door panel,

 

The car was smoking when driving, compression checked out, not loosing any coolent either. Decided to pull the injectors and found a leaky one. Should have the new injectors in the mail tomorrow.
also installed torque mounts, momo, shifter bushing and new muffler

 

Love when cars are abandoned over small things like the slave cylinder and someone comes along and cleans it up. Nice work so far. Looking forward to see how far you take it.

This week we repolished the paint with a different compound, fixed the


window regulator, ac and picked up some missing pieces at the junkyard

 

Major progress! Nice work. Whats the plan for the quarter damage?

 

Wow big difference before and after the polish can’t wait to see it done!!

 

Love seeing this type of progress. Always fun to take an abandoned car and give it new life.
