Prices of the ITR - 2023 onwards
Hi
Im from Australia. Apparently as of next year, the US market will now be able to import all versions of the ITR, is this correct? If so, where do you see prices going for the non JDM, Honda versions?
Would anyone be interested in importing an ITR from other countries, such as Australia?

Who knows?
I live in Europe and the ITRs here are quite reasonably priced. ~12-18K USD for a well used one, e.g. 150-250k km and around 20-25k for a newer one, ~80k km.
I bought mine last year and the price hasn't moved. I suppose if the price went up significantly, then I'll have more options to trade it for something else. However, I'm quite happy with the car and will probably just keep driving it.
IMO, people in the US would prefer to import from Europe to keep LHD, rather than living with a RHD vehicle.

Americans are traditionally not terribly interested in RHD stuff, even GE Honda products. Myself included.
I would love an EK9R, but probably will never get one because RHD... Will probably build a B18C CRX instead.
That said, there are factors that will likely increase that interest as time goes by:
1. Honda has announced the 2023 CTR will be the last gas-only powered Type R
2. Values of all ITR's (especially USDM) will continue to increase in US, even for examples with high miles, making them unobtanium for average people.
3. Auto industry in general is moving further and further away from GE-type products.
As long as gasoline is available, this stuff is gonna be worth bank, guaranteed.
