2001 Accord Crank No Start issue
Hello!
I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX V6. Car was running fine from last summer up until a few weeks ago when it wouldn't turn back on. The green key light on the dash does not blink.
A friend and I have both tested the following:
Swapped out the ECU and ignition lock cylinder assembly with a matching pair, along with a new main relay, and the car ran for a few days before the issue reappeared.
There's no visible damage to the immobilizer pig tail and the harness that goes down through the steering column. I plan on calling the dealership and attempt to get a hold of the brake code.
I'm not a mechanic and my friend is used to working on older cars, so we're kind of stumped at this point. I get the feeling there may be a loose ground on a connector somewhere, but I haven't had much time to chase for one, since the car broke down at a gas station a few miles away.
Any help or insight would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

A friend and I have both tested the following:
- PGM-FI Relay underneath dash. Original was old, we tested the 12v and 4v switches on it, and verified the diodes and resistor with a multimeter. Seemed okay.
- Continuity from the main relay to ground G101 was verified from the Black wire on the relay connector, continuity was present.
- Fuse 46 in engine bay fuse box, fuses #1 & 13 in driver's side panel were not blown and were receiving power. Verified continuity to the main relay connector and continuity was present.
- Verified continuity to ground G101 from immobilizer pig tail (brown & black wire) and continuity was present.
- Verified power to the wires on the immobilizer pig tail, 12v measured on YEL/BLK, 9v on both Blue (Immobilizer enable) and Red (Immobilizer code input).
- Continuity to ground G101 from the ECU was present.
