Stock F22A6 best cam & ignition timing for max torque at low RPM?
Hi, I have a bone stock '93 Accord EX wagon with the F22A6 engine that I use to tow a small landscaping trailer from time to time. Motor has always been well maintained and runs like almost new IMHO, but does seem to dog when pulling the trailer up hills. I'm wondering if advancing the cam timing one tooth which is 9 Deg. would help with the low end torque situation? Also wondering weather changing the ignition timing from the stock 15 BFTDC would make much difference? Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks!
