Default Estimate

So, my 95 accord had been sitting for 8-9 months. When I started it the brakes went to the floor and all of the fluid started to pool under my car, driver's side door. I had it towed to the shop and they said the brake lines were rusted out and I needed two new ones. I also needed a new battery as mine was shot. I kind of feel like my total for repairs seems kind of high. What do you think?

Seems cheap for the amount of labor and rusty fasteners they are going to encounter replacing the lines. That is an involved job.

Default Re: Estimate

I'm not familair with how labour costs are in the US now, but am I seeing $126 to remove and replace a battery, or am I misinterpreting? Because.... a battery takes all of 2 minutes to change on an accord.

Re changing lines, yes, a lot of work is involved on that side
