Glow shift gauge causing an CEL code 6
Okay let me start off by saying I've already researched this extensively and I seriously have not found anyone else with this problem. I figured out that a cel code 6 is for the 2 prong ect sensor in the head under the distributor but a previous sensor snapped off in the head and I haven't had the time to get it out so I added another ect sensor inline of the upper radiator hose. Which is grounded to the the frame. My Glowshift Gauge is wired into a25 and a26 about 6 inches away from the ecu. The output wire is being fed into B6 and is setup in ectune on cobrartp for that pin. The glow shift gauge has a inline switch on the positive side so I can shut it off when I use the car in key on engine off. So I learned I can run the car with the gauge shut off and I don't get a CEL code 6 but as soon as I turn the gauge on CEL comes on with the error code 6. I have tested this several times. Now I know one shouldn't have anything to do with the other but for some reason it does. I was getting this error code 6 before the sensor was broke off in the head. So I know the fact that it's been moved doesn't have anything to do with it. I usually don't post a thread until I've researched and researched and can't find an answer anywhere. It's my last resort. So please don't be smug and tell me to Google it. I appreciate any tips or advice on advanced. Thank you.
My guess is I should move the ground of the glow shift gauge from pin a26 but I wanted to check if other people might have a different answer.
I've also replaced the sensor several times already.
