1994 Accord LX Clutch Slave Cylinder replacement
Did a search for this but did not find anything (assuming I searched correctly
My 1994 Accord (original owner) has abt 175,000 mi. on it. I noticed abt a month ago there seems to be a slow leak in the clutch hydraulic system. I tracked it down to the slave cylinder (replaced the mc at ~95K mi.).
In looking for a replacement cylinder, there seems to be a number of different "brands (i.e. Duralast, Luk, etc.), typically available from O'Reilleys Auto, Autozone and so on. I've read the reviews and many of them have questionable quality (unsure if it's a noob not handling the replacement correctly or truly poor quality). Typical comments were: 3 failed in succession, lasted 1 year and failed, and so on.
I was wondering if anyone had comments on any brand which would work as a good replacement and not be a piece of crap.
Related to this is I thought I read somewhere that the Adler brand is actually used by Honda as the OEM replacement of choice, but are sold by companies not named Honda 2-3 times more than the other brands (Getting it directly from Honda is 2-3 times that price). Anyone confirm or deny that Adler <-> Honda?
Thanks in advance and cheers.....

Cant say specifically for our cars, but I had a duralast slave cylinder on my prelude for two years when I had it without any issues whatsoever.
As for brands to use; looking at RockAuto at the moment and can recommend the Exedy, Sachs, and Luk units just on name alone

@NukeNinja, @Apollo11, @JohnathonI64 -
Appreciate the feedback. I ended up at AZ buying their Duralast brand. Figured it's easier to work with AZ on their house brand if something goes wrong
If I can get a couple of years use out of it, I expect I will have replaced the car by then.
BTW - @NukeNinja - I took a close look at the MC and it looks dry all around it so I'll hold off on that expense...for the moment.
Now all I have to do is install and hope the bleeding process goes fast and easy. Open to any suggestions/experience on that process. Thx.
Again, thx much for the help...cheers....
