As i am in a big need of tightening down the handbrake, i reckoned i shall just remove the center console, all the screws have been taken out yet i am completely unable to remove it, without breaking it that is. It lifts up easily from where the ash tray was but thats it, as if its stuck on the front somewhere. Any info, pictures, hints?

Sadly no, wrong model accord and my Center console doesn’t have cupholders

 

Open and empty your arm rest, pop out the bottom plastic plate with a hook tool or flat head, that should give you acess to the ebrake cable adjusting nuts.
