6th gen AT on a 7th gen?
The automatic transmision on my daughters 2001 civic ex (d17a2) is toast and im trying to save a few bucks. As it turns out i have my son's 97 civic dx hatchback (d16y7) that has a blown motor. It also has an automatic transmission. Can i put the d16y7 AT in the car with the d17a2? The 2001 is vtec and the 97 isnt.
