Post H23 revved past 6500 rpm, now car won't start

I know I'm an idiot but basically I overfilled a little on gas so I figured I'd just floor it most of the way home. At one point when I was waiting on the side of the road I realized I've never actually hit the rev limit on my car so I revved it up to 6500 and it didn't stop so I kept going up to around 7200 only for my rpms to slowly drop all the way down to 0 and shut off. I tried to crank the engine but it wouldn't turn over. When I popped the hood I noticed that the ground wire going from the terminal to the chassis had snapped off, and I thought it was whatever since it already had a decent amount of rust on it. I swapped the wire out and scraped off a bit of paint but it didn't make a difference. After checking the engine a bit more I realized that my injectors weren't firing, I wasn't getting any spark, and my rpms didn't move whatsoever when cranking. We tried swapping in an old dizzy that was lying around but that didn't work either, but at the same time we don't even know if it was working in the first place. My friend thinks that if it's not the dizzy then it might be the crank sensor or ECU so I'm gonna check those out tomorrow but does anyone know what else I should check for?
