Hi I am trying to drain gas in my tank that has been sitting for 7 years and the manual says that I need to remove the fuel tank unit, surely there is a easier way. I have read about people disconnecting the fuel line from the fuel tank unit and connecting a tube to the fuel line that goes to the jerry can, then they take the relay out and use a paper clip to jump the fuel pump. I have taken my relay out and there is no diagram on it to tell me which pins to stick the paper clip into to safely run the pump. 2 pins are giving around 6 volts and 2 pins have no power. I have not tried sticking the paper clip in yet because I am afraid of putting it in the wrong pins and possibly damaging the car. Can someone help me determine how to get my gas out safely
