Default Replacing ignition cylinder

I have a 06 RSX with no key because someone tried to steal my car but ran off with my key.and immobilizer. If I buy a whole new cylinder housing for the column. Do I have to program the key to the immobilizer then to the ecu or do I just program the immobilizer to ecu?

Why not have a dealership cut you a new key from your VIN and then delete all known keys from the immobilizer before programming the new key.

My immobilizer was destroyed along with the ignition. Have a whole new one with matching key on my cat. Cranks, but no start. Green key light flashing. So, do I need to take this to the dealer? I've checked a ton of stuff and it seems like I have a no spark condition.

... or a competent lock and key guy can come to you. Call around and ask if they can program a new key and immobilizer to an existing ECU.

True. Last I checked around me there wasn't anyone that would do Hondas, but depending on location, I'm sure there are competent lock smiths
