D16Y8 swap into 1991 CRX (AUTOMATIC)
So i recently bought a 1991 Automatic Honda CRX. The engine went and I decided to purchase a D16Y8 engine from a 1995 Manual Civic. The guy doing the swap for me is keeping the CRX Automatic. But he says that all of the fuel injectors won’t work because of the wire harness. What I would like to know is what kind of harness do I need to make everything work properly.
(I did get a new ECU for the swap, bought a new intake/exhaust manifold) If their is any more information I could give to help answer this question please ask.

You can only use the original engine and ecu with an automatic. There is nothing you can buy that will make whatever mix up of parts you're trying to throw together work.
OP could drop just the D16Y8 long block into the CRX and reuse everything else that was original to the CRX's (intake manifold/injectors/sensors, distributor, wiring harness, and ECU) and have something that runs, though VTEC won't work.
Well...at least not make it work 100% correct.

If I use the CRX’s stock ECU + Wiring Harness would that allow all the fuel injectors to work on the D16y8?
