Similar to my last post. I’ve seen a couple seats pop up on offerup and junkyard, I’m curious if it’s possible to swap out the recliner assembly on the driver seat? I know of pan swaps, but I’m literally only trying to replace the assembly because mine is broken. My main question is if it’s possible to swap the assembly cleanly, as in not ripping my seat trying to take the current one out. The black metal bracket is what is broken on my car now, is the bracket alone replaceable or would it be easier to replace the entire thing?
Yes, just a few bolts hold it to the seat cushion and 2 to the backrest. Comes off fairly easy. You might want to pull a couple hog rings off the cloth so you can pull it up and get at the 2 on the upper so you don't accidentally tear anything.
You would just replace the thing as a whole.

Gotcha, I watched a video on someone doing a seat pan swap, but he just said there was bolts but did not show where they are. Do you know where I can find pics of where the bolts are? I can’t seem to find them by google and the Hayne’s repair manual doesn’t cover interior pieces.
