Everything hooks up when putting it together but something is obviously not right because keep hearing popping sound when engaging the clutch.

When installing these remanned Oreily axles that are in car now I notice that when tightening the axle nut the CV is pulled towards the wheel. I am wondering if this could in effect preload the axle to pop out past where the clip is supposed to hold it.

Has anyone loosed the clamps on the inboard CV and tried to lengthen it slightly and if so did this help?

Im running over 300 whp so not really wanting to floor it afraid splines may get damaged if axle is partially out.



When I had the original axles they seemed to have this same issue but it was on passenger axle partially coming out.
