Factory Antenna Replacement
Currently restoring the Sol back to factory spec. I've managed to pull out the old antenna and plastic belt (didn't go all the way up due to broken teeth).
Question now is, how do I go about installing the new one?
Do I just push it in, same way as the other came out? I don't want to shred any of the new teeth.

** update **
So I got the motor assembly out of the car, undid the motor cover and used it to wind the antenna belt back into the car.
Screwed everything back together and....
1) The antenna doesn't retract all the way back in.
2) It's working in reverse. Whenever I turn on the radio, it powers in, when I turn it off it powers out.
Any ideas? I really don't understand any of the electrical stuff.
