Icon5 Adding Cruise Control

I have a 1998 Civic HX with the CVT transmission. I love using this car for long trips with its phenomenal gas mileage. Adding cruise control would possibly give me a few more MPG, as well as let me relax my foot on a 4-5 hour drive. Does anyone have any information on installing cruise control in one of these cars? From my research, it does not appear any HX ever had cruise control as an option. I'd love to use OEM parts, but the CVT becomes a bit of a wild card. I found a 14 year old thread in the forum, but it dead ended without answers. Have any HX owners installed factory cruise control from another model Civic? I found the control module and switch on eBay, but I don't know what other parts are needed.... ex: harness, throttle cables, etc? Do I need the module from an auto or manual trans car? Am I better off finding an aftermarket solution? Could I use a factory switch with an aftermarket system to keep a clean look?
