I don't think any HX got cruise control, you might be able to take it from an LX, EX or Si though, the thing that makes it confusing is the CVT transmission, only the HX has it, so i'm not sure whether it would be better to use cruise control for manual transmission or an automatic. with the automatic the cruise control will kick down to the next lowest gear i believe to maintain speed when climbing hills. The CVT doesn't have gears, its just pretty much infinitely variable so i'm not sure how that would work. Adding factory cruise can be a lot of work, you need the module, the cruise control unit under the hood, parts of the wiring harness from the donor car, cruise control switches from steering wheel, cruise switch on the dash, maybe some other stuff.

I don't believe HXes had available cruise control, only the EX, GX, LX and Si.

I don't think anyone knows for sure because I don't think anyones ever done it. If you're going to try it i think i'd suggest you use the cruise control module from a 5 speed though. I can't see any real reason why it wouldn't work, I just don't know of anyone who's done it before.
