Default Can you identify this part?

2005 Accord - EX-L - 3.0L - V6 - Auto transmission

Trying to identify this plastic housing/cover located right in front of the battery. It went missing after an engine swap. Here are the before and after photos showing the part in position before the work and then the after photo showing it missing. And what exactly is the round plastic thing in the after photo that the missing cover was on top of?
Thanks,
Steve

It's a battery vent tube, to provide fresh air to help disperse gas from the battery as most batteries (even sealed ones) vent gases. It was included on older generation Hondas.

Yes, it is part of the assembly.

Subsequent generations Accords didn't include that vent assembly.
