Default ITR AEM Intake

Anyone here have the ITR AEM intake on their 92-95 Civic? I was wondering if you also had to take the splash guard off to make it all fit? I had to and it sux eventhough I have the bypass value too. The filter gets really dirty and wet cause it sits right in front of the tire. Wanted to know if this is what you guyz did as well to make it fit.......other then that......daaaaaaaaaaamnnnnn that thing is nice and is the most noticeable bolt on, in my opinion. Maybe it is cause of the long 3 inch piping...

You have any pics of how it fits? The bigger piping would be nice to have, but I was thinking about the 99-00 Si AEM. I don't know if it can be made to fit though.

AEM CAI for d-series is 2.5"

AEM CAI for LS, B16, GSR is 2.75"

AEM CAI for ITR is 3".

I bought an ITR AEM CAI for my B20Z swap going into my '96 CX. I have a d16z6 engine in there now and the intake ALSO fits with this engine...only problems are that you have to squeeze the rubber tubing down onto the d-series throttle body...AND there weren't any gains that I could notice. Tubing is too big for d-series I think! Plus it's very loud!

I didn't have to remove the splash-guard on my '96. It's not a perfect fit, the filter pushes the guard back a bit...but it's not a big deal.

I'm sure that it would have fit too on my car but i didn't do the install cause i was kinda hung over my friends did the install for me and they cut the splash guard off my car.....dumbasses...but i think it would of fit but would have been tight.....Now i gotta either make one or see if i can grab one from the junk yard and see.....anyone here make one for a cold air intake? If so please let me know.
