where is it? the blue connector, for the paperclip trick... thanks... pls dont ask me to do a search... i cant find it

 

someone show it how to me once..
i did it long time ago..
1) locate the blue connector(you should see two blue connectors, the deeper, harder to reach one is it)
(is located at the left of the clutch..)
2)use a paperclip and stick it in the Male connector.(your car is turn to OFF)
3)turn car on..and it should flash..you need to remove it like in 10 second
and stick it back it again..and it will flash.
4)you need to do it like three time and it will turn off by itself..
the flash is special so you would miss it.

sorry..I kinda forgot some of the steps...
maybe some accordian should chime in..

 

Nope, no blue connector on those. You have to jump pin 9 to ground on the data link connector. (It's the brown wire.)

 

is it posslible to do it myself?

 

It's not hard. just jump pin 9 to ground and count the CEL blinks. A long blink = 10, a short blink = 1.

 

do you have a pic? where is it located? i already reset the computer tho... the CEL is gone... but just for future references... just in case it comes on again...

 

Under the left side of the dash above the hood release. It's a grey 16 pin connector.
