Default Cold start issue

Not sure if anyone still uses this site but hopefully someone could help. I have my boosted dc2 gsr and at cold start it automatically idle around 900-1000rpms and it takes forever for my car to get to operating temp. Especially in Wisconsin cold weather. I'm using hondata s300 v3. So my question is in the hondata parameters how to do raise rpms at cold start? I'm use to my other cars being around 1500-2k rpms and it helps warm up way faster. Sometimes I have to wait 30 mins for it to even move a little to drive.

First figure out what thermostat you’re running, no ts, drilled, low temp, will make the car take longer to warm up. I’m not sure if you can do this on hondata, but on my haltech you can set the cold start idle rpm higher so the car will warm up quicker. Call your tuner.

I have a OEM Honda thermostat. I checked the hondata parameters and it's set to 1800rpm at -40 degrees so idk what else it could be

Clean the IACV! its probrally dirty and stuck!

In Hondata you need to go to IACV duty cycle. there is a dial you can move high or low, raise it as the engine is running and see if the idle goes up. if it goes up as you move the indicator the IACV is functioning correctly. Save the new settings.

You dont need to wait till the engine is at op temp to start driving, The engine will actually warm up faster if you start driving a few mins after start up.
