Icon4 96 civic ex - D15b, p28 Ecu - Idles and runs bad.

I have an automatic 96 civic ex coupe with a d15b engine and stock p2p ecu in it. it runs just fine with the stock p2p ecu. But I just recently bought a chipped p28 ecu (auto converted to manual), the guy says the chip was to activate vtec sooner (4k rpms instead of 5k). Now as stated my car is auto, but the ecu has been converted to a manual. I bought the 2.7k and 4.7k resistor and turned it back to an automatic ecu. It runs my car but the idle is all the way up to 2k - 3k, and it likes to bounce a little. I thought it may be due to the iacv being a 3 prong when the ecu is looking for a 2 prong (so I've been told). I couldn't shift out of park without using the spare key I had, but once I did it shifted into reverse hard! it ran ok in reverse pulling out of my driveway, I threw it into D3 and again it shifted hard, not as bad though, and it drove slow, like there was no power at all, i think it only went up to 2k? id have to play with it again to be sure, but if anyone could tell me some possible ways to fix this that would be great, maybe my soldering job was bad? resistors aren't correct or backwards if that is possible? I'm not sure. I've heard of people using p28 ecus just fine, I was hoping for the same. Any help is appreciated and if more info is needed lmk! thank you!

Not sure why you think a manual ECU will operate the automatic transmission. If I recall the OBD2 system the transmission is 100% controlled by the TCM built into the ECU and is ECU specific. Can't swap trannies without swapping ECU which in turn is engine specific too.

Its an automatic P28 ecu, i also have a automatic transmission, the p28 ecu was converted to a manual by desoldering two resistors, i soldered the resistors back on though, therefore making an automatic ecu, correct?

Will an automatic P28 ecu even run an automatic 96-00 civic properly? or does is have to be manual? ive always seen videos of them being slapped on manual 96-00 civics, never have i seen it done to an automatic...

No, it will not. That was exactly my point, unless you swapped out the transmission to the OBD1 transmission. The ECU isn't going to run the 96-00 automatic transmission even though it bolts right up to the motor no problem. The automatics operate totally differently between the 5th gen (92-95) and the 6th gen (96-00).
