Default ODB II to OBDI - Which ECU Should I get

I have a 98 Civic Ex auto.
I am going to convert it to a OBDI car and I was wondering which ecu I should get.

Thanks

if he wants to mod an auto let him

im trying to figure out why he wants to convert to OBDI, there are no advantages for his stock car and it will only cause havok when he tries to go to emissions.

Get a conversion harness and you can switch back in 2 minutes. OBD-I you can chip easily and make decent power gains on even slightly modified motors.

Not everyone has smog testing like those of you in Cali.

I've NEVER had to have a car smog tested. I live in Florida.

it sure is an auto.

if it was manual, you would have all asked what his mods were (or bitched at him to search).... how do you know he doesnt have a b18 or h22 with a nice i/h/e setup ready for an ecu??

heres an auto worth mentioning
http://www.aj-racing.com/proje....html

i met the car at a local club meet down here

not that my post helps his question or anything.....

Post didnt need to go any further..... you skipped a step.

"I like my auto": why would you even put a post on the board like this then. You have to use the ecu you have. theres no swapping. unless you go down on the spectrum, where you wont be able to engage Vtec because the ecu isnt programmed for it. You have a SOHC motor, 1. cant use a DOHC ecu 2. You have an Automatic tranny, cant use a manual tranny.
