Default Help! TDC MARKS, TIMING MARKS, WOODRUFF KEY??!

Alright so here's the deal, I bought this 97 Honda Accord with roughly 310,000 miles on it for about $1,000. High on the miles end but it ran better than the previous two cars I bought (both of which had given out within the month of buying them, one within the week). Anyways things were going fairly well with the Honda, just some of the minor issues one would expect with a car this old and this many miles i.e. starter is slowly starting to go, may need a new battery, and valves needed an adjustment. Well I decided about a week and a half ago to go ahead and do the valve adjustment since I had some time and whatnot. Well I did the valve adjustment, tried starting it and it didn't go. I thought I messed up the valve adjustment so popped off the valve cover to look. A few were a little tight so I redid them. I was confident I did it right so tried starting it again and still got nothing. Well some time, and a few dozen questions later, my mechanic friend (he teaches automotive at the local college) has me looking at my timing and sure enough my belt was shredded to hell. Anyways I was wondering if there's a way to align all the timing makes on the pulleys and gears and such without having to have the serpentine belt or the timing belt on? It's the 2.2 non VTech. I have experience messing around with cars and am fairly confident I can do it as long as I have something of a guide to stay with. I have the timing covers off currently, and I have the crankshaft damper back on so I can adjust it to tdc however due to the belt not being on I need to know how to align the rest of the pulleys to tdc timing on this car with the current circumstances. Any help would be appreciated.
