Default Damaged Oil Pan

I took my car for a regular oil change a couple of days ago because I'll be driving out of town tomorrow. They told me that I'll need to replace the oil pan because it's damaged and drain plug stripped. My car does not currently leak any oil and I have no driving issues. Does anyone have a similar experience with this issue on a 2012 Honda Civic? And how much time I really have to get this replaced? I won't be able to get this replaced for another 2 - 3 weeks.

If it is not leaking? Replace it at the next oil change.
