Too big of a throttle body is the most likely problem. Didn't watch the video, not sure if you show all the hoses etc and if you managed to hook up all of them or if you had to cap any etc. Post doesn't say much about it.

right sorry if I left out info but it idles at like 2k and revs up and down consistently in the. Video link, I get mixed answers and gonna take it apart when I get home. I’ll also post photos of my hoses n lines when I get home cause like I said I didn’t Find any in detail instructions

I assume you did put the brake booster hose back.

Do you not have the factory service manual for the Z6? It has all rhe coolant lines and vacuum lines.

hi idle can easily be the tb itself but surging is typically a vacuum problem or iacv cant make up for the changed aystem.

aftermarket tb tend to not have an fitv so some cool!ng line rework has to be done.

No I didn’t check the manual, I found a post and used this diagram tho. Also I managed to reinstall everything and the surge idle is gone , but the car revs to 3k and holds itself there. When I plug the hole in the tb it quiets itself down

Wrong gasket on the throttle body? 3000 rpm with closed throttle is a large vacuum leak.

not sure , i replaced it for the new one that came inside the packaging. Also I was able to get the car to idle lower at like 2300 ish but still. Could the intake manifold be causing it if not torqued down all the way

You've got a lot of stuff wrong:

Attach your brake booster vacuum line:

It looks like your fuel return line is incorrectly attached to a vacuum port. The fuel return line goes to the bottom of the fuel pressure regulator (circled):

You've got the wrong hose here between the intake manifold and the fuel pressure regulator - this should be a small vacuum hose. The hose you are using is a PCV hose, and is way too loose, which will cause a vacuum leak and hunting idle and improper fuel pressure.

You are going to kill your throttle cable. Get the correct bracket so the throttle cable is properly aligned.

This hose is supposed to go from the intake manifold to the PCV valve. The bottom of the PCV valve is supposed to then go to the nipple on the black ventilation box on the back of the block, under the intake manifold.

it lowers the revs a bit, I have cleaned iacv and actually just replaced it but it still revs pretty high Lol

Maybe pull your throttle body off and verify you installed the gasket correctly?

ye everything lines up . Using my blox gasket that came in the car I could use a silicone high temp gasket to try maybe it’s thin or something ??

Use brake parts cleaner and spray around all the gaskets and vacuum ports while it's running. That can help pinpoint the area you need to focus on.

alright I don’t have on me now , should I add some silicone on top of the gasket to seal it more properly I guess . Cause it’s a paper gasket it feels like

You should confirm where the vacuum leak is before you start adding silicone.

Yes. Any air leaks after the throttle body will effect idle speed. Tighten the manifold bolts.

The paper gasket on the throttle body should be fine. If it was ripped or broken then I'd recommend a new one instead of using silicone.

The IAT sensor doesn't have screws in it. That is a vacuum leak right there too.

After you install screws to hold the IAT sensor in the intake manifold...
Remove the middle hose from the intake plenum on the front side near the throttle cable... not the one going to your fuel pressure regulator. Plug the port on the intake manifold... either with a vacuum cap or your finger. Now how does it idle ?

Thank you guys for the help . It was the gasket for the manifold I used for some reason it wasn’t sealed I instead used gasket maker and works fine.
