Hey guys i have a 2007 Honda Civic LX. Went to autozone and bought a new lower ball joint.
The part seems to come with a 'locking nut' instead of a 'castle nut' and 'cotter pin'.
The issue im having is that when its time to torque or ratchet the nut down, the nut spins with the joint so its impossible to tighten the nut..
Is here some kind of special tool that i need for this job? or is it by design and safe to install like this?
Also if you look at my video here.. you can see that its bit loose when i shake the nut..

I was able to use my fat old 1/2" Dewalt DCF899B impact wrench gun with a 22mm socket and a long 1/2" extension to impact it in.
i tried using a clamp but it wasnt working.
