Hey,

Im new to honda, got my civic just as an temporary car, as my daily got wrecked. Its 2002 civic believe the engine code is D16v1 as it states in Local register. Manual with ac(doesnt work).

Problem is sometimes(not always) after starting the car it doesnt want to rev up and just like sputters wants to die. Then you have to tap the gas 5-10 times to get revs past 2500 and all is good. Any ideas, i just want this car to get me from A to B and not fail again. (after purchace the altenator died in like 10km)

2ndly can anyone proovide me with oem code for blinkers relay, as someone has done some weird thing with wires and put 24v blinkers relay in there.

3rdly whats the most common reason fron central locking to die on few doors(passanger and behind driver) wont unlock with key turning in driver door.

Not sure if my sputter is the same thing I had, but my manual 2001 was sputtering and almost dying a lot. I took it to my mechanic and he was too busy at the time but told me to add a bottle of LUCAS OIL FUEL TREATMENT and drive it for 20 minutes to see if it helped.
Drove it for about 5-10 minutes while it sputtered then all of a sudden it smoothed out completely. It happened again a 9 months later... did the treatment again, same awesome result. Now I put it in every 6 months, haven't had an issue since. The large bottle is a good deal.
