Default Out of round cylinder bore

So I've been planing on doing a rebuild on a spare h22a4 engine I have in the garage. After pulling it apart, I discovered the cylinders are out of round oval shaped. Is my block trash or is it salvageable? Is it possible to get it bored by a machine shop and use oversized pistons?

The x position, as in the service manual, I'm reading about 0.06mm more than what I get from the y position measurement. I'm using a dial bore gauge to do the measurement

That would be serviceable, yes. However you will have a hard time finding a shop that will be able to handle the FRM sleeves correctly.

There are a few around town that know how to do the FRM cylinders. Do you think I would have to get them sleeved. I would probably try to pick up another block if my only option is to sleeve this one. I'm not looking boost it at all

With factory over-sized pistons, you have plenty of room to bore the block without sleeving.

Called the local machine shop and they told me that I have to sleeve the block to use oversize pistons. I'm going to try a few other places before I give up

Not True at all. Consult another machine shop.
